My artwork is deeply inspired by a sense of curiosity and wonder, drawing from a blend of imagination, everyday beauty, and timeless stories. I aim to bring out the magic in the world around us, capturing vibrant colors and intricate details that evoke an old-world charm. Each piece reflects my desire to transform the ordinary into something extraordinary, inviting viewers to step into a space where creativity and inspiration thrive.

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want I primarily create my art using traditional oil paints, incorporating techniques that focus on vibrant colors, intricate detail, and rich textures. Additionally, I use gilding methods to bring an old-world charm to my work, blending timeless craftsmanship with a contemporary eye.

Each piece can take anywhere from 10 to 50 hours to create, depending on the complexity of the design. Gilded pieces take additional time due to the intricate water gilding and burnishing process. This involves carefully applying multiple layers of gesso and bole onto the surface, which must be allowed to dry and be meticulously prepared. Once ready, thin sheets of gold leaf are delicately applied and then burnished to achieve a luminous, reflective finish. This detailed craftsmanship adds both beauty and durability to the artwork, making gilded pieces especially unique and time-intensive.
