Bee-lieve It or Not: New Work Takes Flight at Distinction Gallery
The Songbird Relic + The Bee Relic
Two of my newest paintings are spreading their wings and buzzing off to a new home—for a while, at least. I’m honored to share that both will be on display at Distinction Gallery in Escondido, California for the next six months.
One painting hums with the golden rhythm of a bee, layered with luminous gilding that catches light like honey in a comb. The other takes wing as a bird, poised between earth and sky, carrying a quiet lyricism in its feathers. Together, they create a dialogue of air and bloom, nectar and song—two muses in motion, each whispering its own story.
A bee gathers, a bird scatters. One collects sweetness, the other carries seeds. Both remind us that even the smallest wings can shift the landscape.
