Crow King Flies the Coop!

In a daring escape, my artwork has flown off to join the show at Edmonds, Washington’s Curious Nest! The exhibition runs from October 16th through November 20th and begins with the lively Edmonds Art Walk.

This is a special milestone—it marks my first public exhibition. After years of painting, gilding, and quietly sharing my work online, these ravens are finally stretching their wings into the world.

The series features ravens and crows—mysterious, clever, and endlessly symbolic—set against luminous, hand-gilded panels. Each bird tells its own tale: one bent low in deep thought, another guarding its treasures, another caught mid-play with a stolen prize. Their dark plumage gleams against the shifting glow of gold leaf, bringing together myth, nature, and timeless ornament.

The Curious Nest is a fitting stage for this debut. The gallery is itself a cabinet of wonders, a place where curated treasures and old-world charm come together—and now, a few gilded ravens have joined the collection.

If you’re nearby, I would love for you to see them in person. The shimmer of gold leaf, the depth of feathered blues, the small, hidden details—they truly come alive in the gallery’s light.

Exhibition Dates: October 16 – November 20
Opening Night: Edmonds Art Walk
